Here's the deal. I have a folder on my computer with a bunch of different pictures. Mostly bodybuilders, cars, tattoos, girls, musclehedz cartoons, you know, the usual. So most of the files are jpg or jpeg. Now, I used to have Adobe Photoshop and used that to view and edit my files.

But somehow photoshop got deleted and it was only a tryout. I have another picture program I can use. But everytime I try and open a picture. It comes up with a box that says my computer can't find photoshop and it want's to try and browse my hard drive for it. I have tried fooling around with my Folder Options menu, but I didn't get anywhere.

So as it is now, I can't view any of the picture files I have saved on my hard drive. Can anyone help me figure this one out. I'd appreciate it. Tyler

Perhaps the files were converted to .PNG files by accident. Check the file names and convert them to .jpeg, .gif, or whatever and see if that works.

jpg file isn't listed under file types. So when I try and create it, it says that it is already being used by photoshopjpg. But photoshopjpg isn't under file types either. This is really frustrating.

I am thinking maybe you saved them as a photoshop file, I think the extention is php, instead of a jpg. If that is the case, then that is why the other photo editor can't read it. :(

Try resaving it as a jpg.

Go to altavista and download irfanview it's the easiest photo editing software I've ever used.
I think it's web site is www.irfanview.com
It's shareware, but don't be put off by thinking you'll get some second rate programme, it's brilliant.

Instead of opening them by double-clicking the icon, open them through the file menu on the program itself.

The program you have may not even recognize jpeg files. Find out what file formats is supports.

GraphicConverter is a great shareware program you can DL.

I have Ifranview too, it rocks for quick crops and resizing. :)

I'm downloading Infraview right now. I know that I downloaded all the files as .jpg. So hopefully, this will work. Thanks for the help guys.
