Pretty much, but these are seriously mentally ill ones unlike all the wannabe's. I think it wil be an interesting experience.

ya mental hospitals are very interesting places, you must be very helpful and patient with the residents.


the employees were always curteous to me except when i peed on the floors.

funny you should mention that, i was in admissions earlier tonight and this old man getting admitted wandered into an empty office and took a piss in the garbage can. he did a good job until i opened the door and yelled "KNOCK THAT OFF!!!!" then he dribbled on the floor. damn alzheimers. you feel bad for the people but irritated at the same time

i work as a guard at our state's mental hospital. kids units suck. always 1 or 2 codes every shift i work on the adolescent units.

When I worked at a local VA hospital for my community serv...er, cuz I'm a nice guy, there were a lot of alzheimers people that did that.. they'd wake up in the night and piss behind their dressers or something.

I work with disturbed 3 and 5 year old brothers and it is tough. But you hope you get through to them a little bit. At first I felt really, really sorry for them, now that I know more I am angry at the mom.

I think yall are getting this wrong. I wont be working with old decrpit people or ones with physical disease, it's more people with OCD or schyzophrenia(sp).

I am pretty good with girls and kids9not in that way you dirty people) so I think it shouldn't be that hard to form some type of solid relationship and help them with whatever is mentally ailing them. Also by nature I am very selfish and have never really tried to give so this might help crack that shell as well.

So Smurfy is the only one with experience?

It was a lowbudget film with Roy Stuart... renowned photog in Europe. He is now apparently trying to make a name for himself with film as well. Was quite an interesting experience. My only line was "Kalm toi" (I know my spelling is horrendous but it means - "Be quiet/calm.")
