That's where my A school is and I never heard of it. Is it a shit hole or a pretty decent place?
Anyone ever heard of Dam Neck, VA???

What school are you going to? Antioch...
Anyway, if you mean Dam Neck Corner then Virginia Beach is right there (like a few miles away) it is a nice place if you like humidity....not to far from where I used to live...

The recruiter mentioned VA Beach.

Dam Neck Base is in Virginia Beach....but it sucks as a base....it is about 10 minutes from the Beach Strip in Va Bch....and about 10 min from Sandbridge..and Pungo....Virginia Beach now sucks....completely...I go back there from time to time and my female friends there say you cannot even take a radio on the beach...cant cruise the strip more than an hour.....there is another beach on Shore Drive...called Chicks Beach....your best bet for chilling out.....no tourists and only a few locals hang there.......beware of 5.0 anywhere in Va Beach....they will suspend your license over a parking ticket....library fine...anything tied to the state.......they can and will.....didn't your recruiter give you the headsup on that.....Dam Neck is a shithole........Ocean City Maryland has a very nice beach.....or travel south to Fla.......

Been there several times...the beach isn't the greatest...but alot of good clubs in and around the area....FM 99 Rocks the whole area....Khule radio station....
