anyone ever have there leg lock up on cycle while sleeping?

Anyone ever experience something like this???
almost every cycle ive done usually 1 or 2 times during it, the middle of the night my leg will spaz out lock up with my calve basically touching the back of my leg. It has thrown me out of bed a few times and needs to be massaged out to go away... The pain is unbearable where you want to scream..Am I the only lucky one to experience this?

ive had that happen, basically my calve/leg locks its like a bad spasm....i usually have to straigten my leg and massage it after...its painfulll

i have had it happen many times. it is usually a searing pain. never on cycle though.

yup wife thought i was crazy i roll off the bed holding my leg yellin like a psycho. Its never happened except on cycle..horrible experience

Yes I have also had this happen, and no drinking more water don't make it stop.

Happens to me at least once a week - usually inner quad. I have to force my leg straight and tighten all the muscles to get it to go away. I have had it set in once and man is that pain.

Damn...and I thought I was the only one. First time that happened, fuck I got scared. Almost certain I was getting enough water + mins, anyone else have any idea why the hell this happens?

OMG. i had this happen one morning my calf siezed up for a good 10+ seconds which felt more like minutes. Pain was immense and i wanted to cry and fuckin thing felt like i tore it for the next 2 days.

Is this the same as myoclonic jerks or seizures in the muscles? I have myoclonic seizures in the muscles pretty bad when I'm in bed, but as I've gotten older it occurs when I'm relaxed and wide awake too. Sometimes the leg will seize up, kick really hard, and sometimes it is other body parts.

It really sucks when you are right on the edge of sleep and then you are in the floor from kicking yourself out of bed. Gotta figure out how many more hours to add to the alarm clock if I don' thave to work the next day.

ive had hamstring ,,calves,,and even groin cramp in dead sleep.

This is a good thread - I'm glad too see all of us have similar issues.
