Anyone else do "the beach" workout?

I train basically just to look good in summer, i havent given a crap about how much weight I could lift since high school. here is my weekly routine.

I train arms like 3x/week
I hit chest reallly hard but I dont flat bench
I do lame ass shoulder and back workouts cuz I got good genes their.
I NEVER train legs...my legs are naturally pretty big and when I train them my jeans get to tight and I feel like Tiger88.
I also do rope crunches at the end of every workout ( the only ab exercise i do).

oh and anything that makes your waist bigger ..ie: deadlifts,squats, oblique exercises... I wont go near.

like i said bitch..my legs are big naturally..i played sports my entire life (football,wrestled, basketball, baseball) my legs are fine, my shoulders and back grow so fast I purposely dont train them hard to keep my entire body symmetrical. I have no desire to get any bigger so I just train to maintain.
 
No problem with that, but I train everything hard.

uhm, like totally not. I posted pics once before..im in shape..thats all yall need to know...i aint jacked but I def aint skinny and I got abs

where did you buy your six pack from?
 
The summer time isn't exactly the best time to bulk so I usually cut down on my total sets to shorten my workouts (preferably 50 minutes or less, down from 1.5 hours)

Why the hell do you work arms 3x per week? I dropped arm day and added in some extra sets on chest and back day for tris/bis so that I only have to go 4x a week in the summer....
 
what kind of stats you have?

i have basically the exact opposite workout as you
i dont train arms, i go hard ass on legs and back, and do a ton of waist thickening exercises hahah lots of olympic lifts and stuff too

thats what works for my arms, i have to brutalize them multiple times per week....my arms were lacking for years and i was taking everyones "just train them once, they get plenty of work already"...bullshit..what works for you, doesnt always work for me...i looked back at pics of me when i was 19 and my arms were huge, so i thought about how I used to train them, i always trained arms alot..so i went back to that method and now my arms are growing alot again.

my stats..lets see im 5'10 , 205..18" arms 32" waist..thats all I know.

You wanna workout, just to look good and score pussy, more power to you.

I'm the complete opposite of you.

I mean dont get me wrong..i like to be strong and I dont lift pussy weights but i also have no desire to be a powerlifter. I go all out to failure on my sets..but I dont do less than 6-8 reps depending on the exercise.

Yeah, that powerlifter shit isn't for me either. My joints are not made for it.
Plus I don't like being a fatty like a powerlifter ;)

jk- yeah that was ur old avatar, u look big, i guess the having to squat and dl to get big is bs. do you juice? (i guess thats a dumb question- since ur name) but since u dont really lift more for just beach i had to ask

nah man..dont go by the name..i have said on here before..i havent been juicing lately at all. I did it when i was 17 in highschool and a cycle here and there throughout the years..but mostly I train natural.

ic,

did it stop your growth and did you see any problems by juicing so early (the problems that they say come about such as ur chest not fully expanding because u stop th egrowth, not growing any taller, hormone problems etc etc)?

well with his stats I'd say it's pretty good for him. us tall people need to gain all the weight we can (ie squats, deads, etc). I wish I could get 18 inch arms @ 205 lbs...fact is I'll need to weight around 230-240 :( But oh well

try hitting them more often..i dont have shorty stubby arms...my arms are actually very long for my height and i have shitty high insertion points in my bi's and tri's..i have earned every inch I have gotten on my arms.

whoa colour me impressed (looks like this --> :rainbow: )

anyways thats good man, you're 3 inches shorter but weigh 5 more lbs than me at what looks like the same bodyfat

my arms are like yours though, if i need them to grow i have to work them all the time... that said the biggest they've ever been is 17" pumped, and i dont work them at all anymore and they're 16.5" pumped (at a lower bf% too) so i dont care too much

my chest resembles that of a 8 yearold girl's though so it looks like we differ there (same waist size though!)
 
i do one bicep exercise a week...never saw the point in heavy arm training, serves no atlhletic purpose...my arms grow from tricep and pressing work
