Anyone else do deads and go home

Seems like everytime I do heavy deadlifts I am too spent to do anything else. Sometimes I try and hit some pull downs or seated rows afterwords but when I go heavy on deads thats all I have in me.
Today I was going to go light and couldnt resist.

This was with a belt only. I think with my knees wrapped and a suit on a 600 would be fair play. It felt great hitting 5 plates for reps today but after that set I was smoked and decided to leave. Maybe I'll hit some rows, lat pulls, and more iso stuff later in the week. Anybody else ever do this? I never get sore from deadlifts but they seem to help me grow more than any other lift.
 
i have a thing where if i work my hamstrings really hard i have to puke.

so if i ever do leg curls i have to save it for the end.

and same with deadlifts...id always do them at the end of my workouts
 
i will do cardio (lots) and then deads--then home. even being that warmed-up I get so winded and I feel like puking--so i usually go home.
 
the problem is that tiggers such anabolism there are great benefits to staying and working another group--esp one that is lagging......that said, i stil wuss out
 
Lately yes.

I pulling 3x5 week one, 3x3 week two, 5/3/1 week three, and week four I deload. All work sets are based off if a percentage of my 1RM.

After these sets I pull 5 sets of 10 at 50% of my 1RM.

Even though 50% is light those sets of ten leave me absolutely drained. I am lucky if I get abs done.

I always do pull ups and deads back to back on Back day. These are my least favorite lifts, I know that u have to do them, so I suck it up do them and everything else for back is a breeze after they are out of the way.
 
Yeah, deads are always the last excercise I do. I cant do anthing else afterward. An I never arrange to see a girl in the evening if I have deads or squats in workout, as Im completely f*ckin' useless afterwards

when i am lifting your level of poundage. ill comment on what i think about your routine.

My best is 330 for 3 sets of 5......
 
Deadlifts drain everything out of me. That's why I love them. That extreme sense of a lack of energy means you pushed it hard. That gives results.
