Anyone else deal with SMS?

Small Man Syndrome(SMS)

In the past I had never been able to get past 130lbs, it seemed like the more food I eat the skinnier I got. Having been in boxing and wrestling I always had to maintain my weight, which I think really ended up screwing up my metabolism.

I am now 5'5" and about 205lbs on my better days, and I recently had my bf% checked at the gym at 13.5%. It seems now no matter how much size I gain its not enough. My friends and family think I'm obsessed, but I tell them taking care of my body and looking good is a healthy obsession.

....anyone else have this problem?

I have it severlely! 5'10 220lbs 13-14%BF and I wear a sweater or jacket every single day of the year. Its PATHETIC!!! I havent gone out with a t-shirt for a very long time. Now that everyone says, "damn u look so big" Im scared to take of my sweater or jacket. I feel like they will say "damn, u looked big with ur sweater on."

My wife complains all the time, lol

I'am 5'5" and weight about 158. A long while back I did some anadrol and test and got big - ballooned up to about 190. I thought I looked good. I got a bit older, stayed off the juice for quite a while. Then started a cycle when I was back down around 150 (this was a couple of years later). I got to be a ripped 165lb - best I ever felt in my life! So, although I thought I look great pushing 200lb, I look at myself then and now and think I look much better now at a lower weight. I just think guys that are taller can look better with larger muscle volume than us short guys. Just my opinion.

What do you think about Lee Priest? I mean his contest look, that is. He's 5'4".

Yeah, I was 150 lbs at 6'1" at one time.....friends would always bust my chops and call me an ethiopian..lol. So I can totally relate, but im careful not to get too obsessive about it.

Ethiopian,...lol!

I heard that too, from my own mother!

My problem is when I look in the mirror I still see myself as that small kid, but my girlfriend says I look huge and I still don't see it. My girlfriend was fighting anorexia and I think its the opposite of what she had. She always felt fat and big, I always feel skinny and little.
