dude.. she HAS been brain dead for 13 years now..
wtf? 13 years. i'm pretty sure it's not coming back.
put it this way. would YOU want your family and wife and daughters and parents to live in the hospital every day for 13 years if this happened to you? would you want everything that they work for to be sucked out the other end by an enormous, and growing, medical bill? would you want your wife and daughters and mom to feed you teaspoons of jell-o for 13 years while you just sit there, eyes rolled up in your head, drooling, and not knowing what the hell is going on anyway? would you want them to see you that way?
you need to think this all the way through before you judge someone.

I agree 100% with decem. 13 years is a long time. I mean i guess it's posible for her to recover by some miracle but odds are it's not gonna happen and she is suffering. Would you want to be bed-ridden and unable to move for 13 years. I sure as hell wouldn't.

Ah but what the stories dont say is that her husband wants her dead. He has refused to allow therapy to occur and is waiting on the life insurance policy. When the hospital calls him for anything he states, "Did that bitch die yet". He has refused all treatments for her, living with another women, and had kids with her. Why didnt he get a divorce? hmmm. Can you say life insurance policy. This dude is fucked up...In addition in a sworn diposition the nurses who take care of her have reported that she has been verbal, cries, shows facial expressions of pleasure.
I just dont think this fucker should be able to play god. There needs to be an independent guardian appointed w/out bias. I dont think I would want to live that way but I sure as hell wouldnt want some cocksucker making my decisions for me when they alternate agendas in mind.
I have been following this story on the Glenn Beck show. Gov. Bush got 27,000 emails last week from pissed off Glenn Beck listeners and now is requesting the judge to appt an independent guardian. This should get real interesting to see what happens.
