anyone deal with state farm and car thefts? bmw stolen

I'd like to think BMW is smart enough to have a semi-decent anti-theft system built in. My damn Lexus was made in the 90's and if you force your way into it in any way the engine automatically disables itself.

No car is unstealable. Even Transponder key cars are stolen.

The best u can do is lojack/satellite gps and hope cops, who people hate anyways, will give enough of a shit to respond to a stolen car beacon in your area.

SF has treated me well over time...on cars and houses with quick, adequate if not generous payment on the few claims i have had to make. their post-katrina response cannot be faulted (unlike FEMA and President Bush's)...IMMEDIATE cash advances for living espenses, rapid, generous CHECKS for rebuilding with NO strings attached (no "partial payments with more to come with invoices submitted").

the few car claims i had to make were handled equally rapidly and generously.

everynow and then i get discusted with what i am paying for insurance and shop around...never leave SF.

i had one multi line independent agent tell me to just write SF a check and stop wasting her and my time shopping around.
