Anybody here like Camping, Rafting & Fishing Trips?

My boyfriend & I have been wanting go camping in canoe country - Boundary Waters & Quetico Provincial Park in Ontario.

There is a canoe outfitter called Canadian Waters - it's supposed to be really awesome. They can fly you in to some of the most remote lakes in the park.

I use to fish some when I was younger.

I've never really had the patience to hunt though.

I like riding my mountain bike, camping, hiking, caving, rafting, etc.

It's difficult to find the time & PEOPLE to go now that everybody's older and is married, has kids, jobs, etc....

Yes, Mr. Farnsworth and his wife were biz. "pals" of mine. They buy a TON of tires from a company I deal with now. Their son may have bought the company and changed the name.

They had stores all over Texas...Denton, Killeen,etc.

I need to call them now that I'm thinking about 'em!

I don't hunt or fish, but I do a good amount of paddling in kayaks year round. Everything from rivers to lakes to ocean water, I've been in it. The wife has one too, but she uses it less than I do.

Finding the time and the friends with time is the hard part. I try to make the trip to the white river @ least once a year. Usually Feb1st, becaus that is when they open the Catch and Release area for the Trophy Trout. It is closed to fishermen from Nov1 to Jan31 to allow the fish to spawn...damn they are hungry after having sex all winter!!

Hey, I've been camping in Quetico, very nice! Lots of mosquitos when I was there though.
