I was thinking about what that tranny biteme said :D .

How many of you have actually been camping???

I mean REAL camping, hiking out deep into the woods, no camper, no electricty, nothing.

Just a tent and a few supplies like lighters and stuff to clean/cook whatever you catch.

I think every man should learn to do this at least once in their life.

I'll bet most of you are way to prissy to handle it.:p

I use to go Primitive camping all the time.

Just a backpack, tent, climbing gear, etc. No ground fires.
No trace.

Met my first mountain lion this way......

I camp all the time. I got a nice pack, sleeping bag, stove and purifier so I'm good to go. I usually only go for 3 day/night trips but I have gone for over a week before, that is, complelety submerged in the woods, nothing but my pack filled with food and my dugout filled with dank. I would never rely on catching anything in order to eat, too dangerous plus you cannot shoot animals out of season, even if you are hungry. In national parks it is illegal to pack heat...

Yeah, that's why I dont camp at the parks, here in Texas we have a lot of areas to camp.

"I would never rely on catching anything in order to eat,"

We have a custom that we bring canned food and if you can't catch anything you have to eat that and watch the rest eat their fresh caught fish.

It's a very primal, powerful thing to live off the land and eat something that you just killed and prepared.

Ocala National Forest back before the family..

You used to run into some strange types that lived out there Illegally...

I Always carried when I was there...

My old man and I used to go camping every year. We used to go pretty deep into Canada. One year we went all the way around Lake Superior.

Yeah Hardrock, I'm from Michigan...have been around lake superior a few times, the Candian side and the Michigan side. Beautifull country, cold as fuck in the winter. The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is truely the last frontier...

I use to go all the time, when I was in my 20's. We would go into the mountains of NC, Tenn., and Virginia. I would still like to hike the entire Appalachian trail. There is some very beautiful country up in those mountains. :)

one of my favorite things to do......i love the out doors...i miss back home so much after thinking of this:rolleyes:

I love camping. I'm trying to get my girlfriend to go with me, but she's too much of a city girl. Seen too many horror movies, lol.

the best part is waking up and knowing you are out there with the wild ..... usually some un lucky bastard on look out though

I went sea-kayaking in the Queen Charolette Islands for a week.

All tents, no electicity, shit in the woods wipe your ass, put TP in a bag & carry it out.

I've done a lot of hiking on Isle Royale... out in the middle of Lake Superior. A moose damn near flattened my tent one night. Very cool place to hike.
