Its an awesome place to go for a vacation

I am sure at summer time the coastal area is a 24/7 party time....Zagreb too

very nice place, you can go to Split or Dubrovnik and it has it all - beaches, parties, nice and beautiful people AND historic stuff

don't really know what you are looking for in a vacation, if its beach and party.. i would highly recommend makarska, hvar, brac, bol are where loads of beautiful croatians, czechs, slovaks, slovenians, hungarians etc go to party. mid july to mid august is when the beaches are most packed.

as for things to see, dubrovnik should be seen by everyone. it is the only city in europe to have never been conquered.. a huge fortress.. if you are into castles. plitvice, where my folks are from are also incredible. they are the largest waterfalls in europe, and also the oldest park in europe.

as for english, everyone under 40 speaks it.

i can go on, but i don't really know what you are after. if you want to see the oldest culture in europe and party, croatia is your place.
