any way to combat muscle loss on t3

how much muscle can i expect to lose on t3? i was planning on using it in my contest prep. im natural except for using clen last year for pre-contest, so i wasnt planning on using anything else but im willing to reconsider,but id like to hear ideas from both sides with and without a.s.
 
Even a low dose of test will help keep muscle, that's the way I'd go. but you could also just throw some clen in there for it's anti-catabolic properties.
 
You will lose muscle on T3. You should include either AAS, Clen, or even ECA to retain as much muscle as possible..even HGH will help.
 
Before I started my first cycle, I used T3 and clen. I could literally feel the muscle being eaten away(at least that's what I think it was). I had a tingling sensation in my calves quite often and they got smaller and weak as shit. The clen may have helped-I don't know. Only thing I know is that I could eat anything I want and still lose weight-what a trip.
 
T3 is not for natural competitors. At the dose neccessary to facilitate significant fat loss so to will the dose be VERY catabolic to muscle tissue and even other tissues of the body. AS counter this muscle catabolism while on T3 so it isn't as big of a problem. Although muscle mass still is lost even when T3 is run in conjunction with AS. I've used it with AS and still lost my fair share of mass. I wouldn't consider it without AS.
 
I don't run T-3 unless I am on at least 600mg of gear a week, or I lose muscle...couldn't imagine using it without juice. I always make sure to run a 17aa oral with it too (usually winstrol) as these seem to have a unique anti-catobolic effect. The times I have used T-3 without an oral I have lost alot more muscle.
 
It's all dependednt on the dosage. The side effect of too much t3 is the muscle wasting, you if use a small dosage of say 20mcg per day along with a good diet high in protein you will experience faster fat burning and no muslce loss if your calories are not too low. It's a simple formula of calories in calories out, when you take too much T3 your metabolism speeds up so much that you simply burn way more calories then you are taking in, this can result in a starvation mode in the body and it will turn to muscle catabolism to save energy. That's all. So it's all dosage dependent.

A small dosage like 20mcg will be enough to give you a small ammount of boost but not enough to cause muscle wasting, in fact t3 is slightly anabolic in small dosages.
