Any surfers?

Just curious to see if there are any meat head surfers out there besides me? I love hitting the gym but when there is waves that usually takes priority.

Such a constant battle wanting to get big but not big so I could paddle out and catch huge waves. Love surfing the 12 footers.

If you do surf, where do you go?

I surf all over San Diego, mainly from Swamis up to Trestles.
 
Surfer RIGHT HERE. :luxlove: Im a huge surfer chick. I reside in Florida so the best beach we have is probably coacoa beach that I've surfed. I surf in Cali all the time though, Huntington Beach and the like.

I'd post my surfboard, but I can't' post links or pics until 25 forum posts or something.

Indeed Cocoa Beach is great, hence why Ron Jon's is there, I live 30 min from there but havent brought myself to learn to surf... it would be so much fail it aint funny ;)
 
Nice! I am going to have to push gym day to Wednesday now cause of the swell coming in tomorrow. San Diego is getting a 3-5FT NW (occasional 7 foot bombs) and SW 2-3 fading which gives you those nice peaky A Frames. Can't wait!

fuk that too many things to nibble on my toes in the ocean.
i'll stick to inland lakes where i can see the shore at all times
 
I surfed a lot growing up middle school through high school. I haven't paddled out in over a year or more though. I still have two boards. A 6'8" custom fun board and a 9'6" channel island long board. My grandma lives east of the icw so the boards are there and my little cousins use them all the time.

Now I spend my free time on the water fishing.

You gotta worry about the gators and moccasins in most lakes around here. The gators I can deal with, but those moccasins are some evil fuckers.

I tried fishing this weekend again, failed again... got my bait stuck in a tree... PLEASE dont ask how :D and then line snapped in the water... I'm close to giving up since I have no F idea what I'm doing... :(

lol, I was on vaca a few years back and stepped on something slimy that moved while about chest deep in the ocean. I squeeled and booked it for shore.
 
Funny. Actually last Friday in Nor cal, a 19 yo got killed by a shark. Terrible! I hit 2 stingrays over the last 3 years but luckily never got stung cause I shuffle my feet.

I saw that on the news, sad. :(

Do u think I stepped on a stingray? If so I was lucky, whatever it was, it was flat and smooth and scared the bajesus out of me
 
I used to surf...lived in California for a short period...loved San Diego!! Up here in Canada...if you make the west coast, you can surf off Tofino but I have recently discovered surfing behind a boat. LOL It's not quite the same...the board is shorter but once you get the hang of it, you toss the rope and just ride the wake. I guess it's the next best thing! ;)
 
ahh well im drunk so excuse any typos, yeah im technically pansexual meaning i don't care about your gender and/or past gender. i love who I love etc. but I dont like identifying as "bisexual" because most don't take you seriously, and i can understand why. so many psuedo bisexuals and whatnot. so idk. Im mostly gay, as in ratio wiese 80/20 female/male i prefer females soo.. I just decided to put gay.

anywayy, it doesn't really matter seeing as he's married i think so haaha :P

Props on that fuckin' video by the way :) Im ganna have to record myself one time.

Sweet, I'm not judgemental, one wants what one wants, be it blond, brunette, male female or red head :)
