If you can do GH at 4 I.U.'s for 5 days on 2 days off, you will notice really nice gains in 5 months. You need to do gear with it to really reap the benefits otherwise you will only get lean and notice fat coming off. The reason for insulin is because GH makes your body become insulin resistant, and can actually turn yourself into a diabetic. so shots of insulin takes the stress of your pancreas from having to produce so much. Plus it will get you bigger because it acts as a shuttle for nutrients to your muscle cells.

I dont know how good the orals work for insulin production but I do know that insulin does work well if taken correctly. With insulin you have to be carefull as it can make you or break you. I use Humulin-R.
