Any of you have hunting dogs?

My good friend has 2 reg. Vizslas and had pups this fall. She had 13 and he was only planning on 6 so he had extras he was giving away. They are great dogs, we went out with them 3 days when I was home on leave, best pheasant hunting I've ever done. Birds were down a bit in Wyoming and SD but we still filled out all 3 days.

Two English setters......great with Grouse, Pheasant, woodcock and quail.......Highly recommend them to bird hunters

i had beagles. . .as far as bird dogs are concerned, they're a TON of work and to get them "right" you have to be down right mean to them but, if you train them properly, watching them work is a thing of beauty. . .i've hunted grouse with brits, springers and short-haired's. . .i like the brits the best. . .for duck hunting, labs are hard to beat and teaching them to retrieve is pretty easy. . .

Currently a Britanny, but have had Setters and a Pointer........mostly quail, some grouse and pheasants at a preserve. Yes, a remote collar is a must for bird dog training.

lol that this got moved.
seriously, when will the powers at be understand?
