Any of Ya'll Feel Weird Asking a Fat Waitress what the Fat Content of a Certain Food

curling

New member
Well,

I was wondering if it was just me. I go into a restaurant and ask what is the lowest fat and carb meal they have. Then I realize the waitress is pretty dang fat. I am 6' and 198 lbs and she must be at 180+ at 5'8''. Anyway I just kinkda feel like a sorta insulted her. Here I am pretty thin and she is a cow and asking her for low fat food suggestions. .

Anyway is it just me or do ya'll feel weird sometimes too?

if you have been carb and fat counting in the past, you can get a rough estimate of how much carbs and fat the dish has by just reading the description on the menu.(sandwich bun 30-50g carbs roughly,if its fried or grilled etc..)I would say that a majority of regular people(who dont work out alot or watch their caloric intake)dont have a fucken clue.Do your own homework bro and you wont have that weird feeling anymore.;)

When I was in college there was an obese lady in the serving line whose sole job was to spoon gross amounts of gravy on otherwise healthy food. Everytime I would request no gravy, and she would smirk and put on twice the amount. After a while I just lost it and told her off in very impolite terms.

be warned: the lardball food servers of the world despise the healthy and fit, and will try to pull you down with them!

I'm always asking how many ounces is the chicken breast and can I get that steamed instead of fried. It just goes with the life style. Granted, you're more difficult than the average customer, but you're the one eating and paying for the food. Just make sure you tip them well.

no, that doesn't bother me.
and I never get tired of calling KFC and asking the females that answer the phone how large their breasts are.

That happens to me to. At the serving lines at Furrs they always try to put gravy on everything. They don't even ask if you want it. No wonder everybody is so fat in this country.

Happy,

That is too funny. I am going to have to do that next time I order chicken at KFC. :D

Those of you that been around food service, or have a relative that owns a restaurant like I do, will tell you, it's not a good idea to piss off waitresses, waiters, or come across as too picky/finicky/unpleasant/ect. Many, many, many (more than you know) restaurant employees are just looking for a reason to put bodily fluids or other vial substances in your food. Some just do it randomly, others do it so they can serve you with a smile. My advice, just eat what's on the damn menu, be polite about it, and NEVER send anything back to be recooked. Express your displeasure with the tip.

Actually, the weirder part is after you order your food........and it might take a while for you to get it.........and then she hands it to you, and says........"sorry about the wait!" And of course the first thing that pops into my mind is........that she's really saying, sorry about the "weight". LOL And I so badly want to say............"that's okay, you're high bodyfat isn't my problem." LOL

delts2:D

i wouldnt feel bad, your not asking to humiliate her and if she gets upset just say im a bodybuilder and i count every dam calorie,i didnt mean to offend you and i will leave a nice tip for offending you
