My brother in CR needs the left headlight for his 97 Hyundai tiburon they are out of stock everywhere in the country.... cheapest I found online was $189 on ebay.... tried local junkyards and nothing... I did a site search in all craigslist and found both the left and the right being sold for $25 from a guy.... but I have no way of paying him that guarantees he'll mail them....

Any ideas what else to try or where else to look?

It's $25, just pay him and take a chance. I doubt he'll commit fraud for a whopping $25.

and tell your brother to stop buying Hyundais. Toyotos or Volvos, that's it!

You can always have someone in the states you can trust buy it from craigslist and ship it to you.

But if you do paypal make sure you don't send it as a gift you won't be able to get that back.

paypal. they always side with the buyer in any dispute. They will straight fuck up that seller if he doesn't send. Fucking nazis.
But he's selling it through craigslist not ebay so there's no real buyer protection....

I am in the states... I just cant find it anywhere under $200 and the dude that has them cheap is in WV and I'm in FL

are you ready to ask me nicely? :)
I told you I'm embarrassed and didnt want to bother you again :o:cold: cuz I'm a lunatic and dont like "bothering" people with things that usually dont even bother them....(I need help)

However if you know how to help me please tell me since I would really really appreciate it, so thank you :)

Well, word to the wise, if you buy a new headlight assembly it's pry gonna be $100-$175.

Try calling certifit (www.certifit.com)...google them and find your closet local store. Call them though, cuz they don't list everything online. Also, a light from 96-99 will work cuz they are all the same.

If they don't have one let me know and I'll give you a couple other places.

tell him to put the car on a boat and move to the u.s...you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a friggin' fully-stocked autoparts store in this damn country.

Tell him for $100.00 - $175.00 he can buy another Tiburon, hopefully with a headlight assembly this time.

I'm in Fl also. We have a junkyard in my area called ace pick a part or something like that. If they have the car you need you can go and get the parts yourself pretty cheap.

People like breaking my windows so I've used them a couple of time.

They also have a website so you can see the cars they have on the lot also before you make trip for nothing.
