Any ideas on this?

I am on week seven of Test e @ 500 wk, Deca @ 300 wk. Dbol first 4 weeks @ 30mg a day. HCG last week and this week to get the boys pumped up.

So, heres the question, I have been red or flush in the neck and face. My BP is up ( 130-135 over 90), which is not uncommon for me with higher protien intake. So, the flushing may be from BP or what?

I was reading a thrad that taurine can help with higher BP?

Thanks guys!

Probably so, test keeps my neck and face like that all day, sweaty too. Arginine is a good assist, but if taking test for awhile I'll take a diuretic everynow and again to keep bp as low as I can.

how are you relating high protein intaking with blood pressure increases??

agreed i dont see the correlation, if anything its high BP from the things you are taking.....id say culprit number one was dbol then number 2 water retention, if you have any......

I havent had any real water retention, I've been using Aeromasin and it really has worked well, my muscles are hard and pretty well defined for being on these compounds.

I was told by my doc last year (not on cycle) that my elevated BP could be due to increased protein intake putting a stress on my kidneys and he said that would raise the BP, is this shit advice? (wouldent surprise me if it was)

ummmm im no doc but im calling shit advice on that one, i take in alot of protein and my BP is fine as well as kidney values....do you drink enough water???

Hate to break the bad news, but I've been down this road in the past, yea excess protein will mess your kidneys up really bad. Read closely, Flex Wheeler is now missing a kidney DUE TO excessive protein intake over his years....I have never correlated it directly to BP, but the kidney degradation I suppose could play into it.

well in the case of Flex Wheeler im sure he was taking in ummmmm a tad more protein then myself and a few "supplements" so i cant answer for him as to why it happened to him, i can however answer as to what i experienced and what happend to me....i have YET to get a high kidney value taking in 1.5 to 2 grams protein per pound of body weight and been doing this 8 years, am i an expert no....am i doctor no.....do i tell people by what I experience, yes.........so ya didnt break any bad news to me, its all good

humm, I'll have to have kidney values done with blood tests after cycle to see where I'm at on this.

Any other input on this?

Thanks!
yeah ya never answered about the water intake.....

try to do 1 gal a day.

So, is Taurine supposed to help with BP?

no clue never used it bro, one of the supplement gurus should know maybe Ulter if he sees this thread would know about the taurine or you could just PM him and ask if he knows....as for the water a gallon is good but more is always better i weigh in at 210 pounds (cutting) down from 220 and i still hit at least 2 gallons a day, if you carry around a 1 liter bottle and refill that bad boy eight times its not that hard.......

Flex wheeler is missing a kidney because of massive steroid , EPO, GH, IGF-1, insulin , PGF2a, DNP and lasix abuse.

Just read about Tom Prince and you'll know why the pros are losing kidneys these days, it sure as hell aint the protein intake.

yes taurine will help, i was taking a gram to two grams a day and it really dropped my BP, along with cutting out all my extra sodium.

Taurine will help but it needs to be done in conjunction with some cardio and watch your sodium intake & drink lots of water!

and yeah, i'll get my fat ass on a treadmill !!

Water is very important. When I am running a cycle I will drink 1 1/2 to 2 gallons of water daily. :chomp: Helps keep the bp down by ridding the body of excess sodium!!!!!!!

Sorry guys even though we know the pros of today use high amounts of GEAR,Flex Wheeler condition is caused from an aggressive kidney disease called Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis in 2000.No matter what his body will deterioate his kidney's due to his condition.Hope this helps Bros

ditto... not following that one.

Probably not relating high protein intake directly to high bp, but indirectly with the high bp being caused by water retention caused by renal insufficiency caused by massive protein intake.

I'm not agreeing with it, I'm just trying to think of an explanation.
