Along the lines of what jaded said, if you have to ask someone for ideas on a tatoo, you shouldn't get the tatoo, period.

It has to be something personal to you, not something "cool" that some guy suggested over a forum.

i was thinking of this:

its an original so dont copy! egyptian heiroglyhic eye on the base of my neck (behind).
2 chicks hands tatooed on my obliques- sorta like a chick hugging u from behind.
and a dragon fly on my shoulder, black and white, one side normal, but the other half is cross sectional and inside the wings you can see gears and mechanical parts.

Whatever you do design it yourself, at least the concept. Nothing would suck more than to be walking down the street and some dickhead has the same tattoo as you do!

I have a lot of tattoos (fully sleeved etc) and get them for the same reason i lift weights. To accent my body in a way that pleases me. I could give a shit if anyone else likes them, I put on me for me.

Get something that has personal meaning to you, instead of something someone on an internet forum suggests. Get something meaningful.

Thank you. I have three fairly large tattoos, and each one took at LEAST a year of sketching and soul searching to finally get them to where they were unique and personal. My ink is a portrait of who I am and what I'm about, and I won't be one of those people who will be wishing they had never gotten one years later.
