Any help for slow healing cuts?

If I cut myself, it takes months for the cut to heal and
then I am left with red marks. Same problem with acne.
Am I deficient in a certain vitamin or mineral?

i don't know bro...i'm like wolverine. i get slashed enough for stitches.....and i heal up in a week or two. regular cuts go away in a day or so. not sure what the hell it is.....i take shitloads of vitamins/minerals ED. so maybe that is it.

this may sound dumb, but try magnetic/copper therapy. It's cheap, and if it doesnt help it'll help other thing

also theres some ointments that will speed healing, check your pharmacy

You need to see an immunologist. If you eat a well-balanced diet, this is likely more than a simple defficiency state. It could be anything from a defficiency in myeloperoxidase, to a defficiency involving cytokines or growth factors. Just a quick question...you aren't double jointed are you?

go get a glucose tolerance test cause it sounds like your diabetic to me.

i agree with walkthewalk on this one, get your blood sugar levels checked! if you don't, you could have further troubles down the road you'll regret later.......

peace.

Possibly deficiency in vitamin C and other antioxidants.

maybe that is it. i take 2000mg vitamin C twice a day ED. that may be why i never get sick (knock on wood) and heal so quickly.

I've noticed when I'm taking lots of vitamin C I don't bruise very easily at all and wounds heal faster 2.
