LOL that wasnt real... its been proven by some urban legend site

They're intimidated by me. I actually saw the incline bench wet itself one day when I entered the gym.

lol, nice Thai ;) and megad.... you sure???? looked pretty real to me, and could happen.

Spatts posted a link where they discussed the flaws in the picture. After they go through it, it's pretty obvious it was not real. (A real accident, that is.)

I have seen another video where a person was able to push their insides out the bung-hole somewhat like the picture. It was nasty.......

you'll be saying something different about intimidation when you're pinned by 400 lb squat

YOu can handle 400 lb squat? How about for 20 reps? WOuld you be intimidated then!??

Hey loudenswain, what do you think about flat bench for chest development?

Just joking bro :)

ok how bout an 800 pound squat....lol....there is always more weight....you guys are killing me with this "I intimidate the Iron" stuff....lol...priceless

LOL. Nah bro.

Better to strike fear into the weight, rather than vice versa.

you call me a pansy again and ill strike some fear into you!

I dont fear the weight.....i respect it. i also learn how to bail out of the lift without hurting myself

You can't be a powerlifter and fear the weight. You also can't be a powerlifter and not now your chaos recovery, your "out." Well, you can, but not for very long...

haha. before I max out on squats I practice putting a lightly weighted bar down on the rails to make sure I can get out safely if I fail. maxing out on squats is intimidating, but not really scary.

The #4 intimidates me

i got mad respect for ya if thats the lowest # that intimidates you.

Fear of an exercise?

In other words, fear of a piece of iron that sits on the floor UNTIL I pick it up and make it move?

Nah, never. I've got the power, babee to make the damn thing move :)

I've been doing a Wingate anaerobic power test every 3 weeks for the study I'm in. That intimidates me. Worst 30 seconds of my life.

As for weights, I'm not intimidated by any exercise. It's more like respect for them.

swimming in an ocean triathalon would scare me, or big wave surfing....i wouldn't want to drown while getting a workout.

as far as weights go, I guess catching a clean atf scares me a little because I let my elbows come forward once and one got pinned between the weight and my knee, dislocating my wrist. That will always be in the back of my head when I set up, but its gone when I pull.

Nothing scares me in the gym....heres why. When I go to workout I don't think all that much. I walk in the squat rack, warm up, working up to the weight I need. Then i grunt a few times to myself then i squat. Rack it and repeat. I don't think to much

The #4 intimidates me

The number #4 intimidates me too. I cant fathom it at the moment. It feels like someone saying "here go squat 2000 pounds"

Although (not to change the subject) i think the 4 is easier than its made out to be.

Everyone thinks "i will never close the #4". Its that kind of mindset that prevents it from being closed. Also the whole "only one person in the world has closed it" buisness makes it worse.

I will close the #4 in a couple years......but for now, its kicking my bum on negatives
