If you were asking about the cat on the left, in your picture - it is a Himalayan. Some think they are better for allergy sufferers because they have less 'dander' - kind of like a hypoallergenic cat.

Persian cats have the little smushed in noses. If you are not home often - I might get an older cat 2-3yrs and up that is litterbox trained and also either declawed or is used to having clipped claws....(think furniture destruction).

And when they sneeze... snot everywhere. It's the inbreeding.
