I built a '96 Cobra that was a lot of fun! Vortech, S. Highland heads, 3.73, headers, Aftercooler, carbon Fiber driveshaft, bassani exhaust,and a little shot of nitrous! Well, this car went a 11.31 on BFG Drag radials WITHout the nitrous!
(I didn't install the nitrous on this car)! It was pretty quick and damn neat sounding! <like a ferrari!> Was NOT my car!

DSM lover here too bro........... '91 Talon AWD minimal mods still pulls high 13's and goes through a foot of snow. They are cranky and break alot but there is NO car like a DSM for all around drivability at a reasonable price. Sure you got megabuxx AWD's out there...hell I put the extra 20k into my Talon and that would be one sweet ride!! The only new car I'd own right now is the Subaru WRX, but can't bring myself to finance 25k especially since being an Agere employee I'm looking for a new job in two months. So right now I'm looking for a later model AWD Talon but I'm scared of the 2nd gen crankwalk issue.................as for older cars it all Mopar baby. They had personality, sure The Chevy's were fast too but they were generic bellybutton type cars.

What kind of short times are u running (60ft)?? Still on the run flats??

My buddy has a 2001 ZO6 running 12.48 stock. Crazy fast, and just hooked up a 175 shot. 4th gear on the E-Way is fucking nuts in his car.

The Z06 is nuts fast. Can’t wait for the ’02 with 405hp.

Mine is an automatic with a converter. If traction is good (no drag radials) I get 1.8x short times.

No. Run-flats are in the basement, heheh. I’m on my second set. First set was g-Force KD. Very good tire. Now I have Yokohama’s. Not bad.

That just had me crying. I saw that post over there with the pics of Willa everywhere.

I am car nut too. I have a 86 Mustang GT that runs 12s and is a daily driver and my only car. I use to put 100 miles a day on it and then shoot out to E-Town in NJ and run low 13s all day on street tires. If I get it to hook right on the dragradials I should see mid 12s. My buddy has a 99SS putting 434 hores to the street running low 11s at 118mph and that is also his daily driver. I am right now looking to sell the Mustang and buy a Bronco and finish the restoration on my 68 Fairlane.

SW runs some serious time bro. My buddies SS has the MTI head and cam package. He was pulilng a little over 500 at the motor with the stage two heads and cam and an LS6 intake. He always keeps me informed on SW and his runs. That 422 is a nice motor. I wanted to put an LS1 in a 70 Z28 but I couldnt get the funds up and then Hot Rod did it.

i also have a DSM awd is nice, mines a fwd but dsms are very very fast cars with minimal mods, check out dsm.org, you can run up to 26psi on 1g motor 90-94 and 22ish on 2g motor 95-99 stock! no mods! thats turbo boost! i am currently running 20 psi on my daily driver, its pushing around 350 hp and will walk the new c5 vettes.
