Any anti-virus/spam/hacker software better than AVG?

My AVG sofware (full version) got an error a few weeks ago and said to reinstall it....only I don't know which one it was on their site and I don't have the original install file on my HD either. I contacted their shitty customer service twice and they never emailed me back (no phone support, only email or through the software, but mine was fucked so that was nixed).

So I'm about to say the hell with them.

Anything better? I need protection quick.

They are far less likely to catch anything while surfing. Kind of like if every chick at a night club had a built in condom.

I'm on a windoze machine right now though...if you want the IP, just make sure you destroy the whole network so's I can go home.

Kind of like a Transvestite at a night club. Nobody uses them so they are obscure and not a common target. And that was only true when they wrote their own OS.

NOW they are Unix with a pretty GUI. Nothing special about them in terms of how secure they are, the security through obscurity is completely gone.

Unix is a common target, vulnerabilities well documented and completely ownable. No different than Windozzzzzzzzz

I think I'm getting a raw deal, but that's the life of a noob. I'm paying for Webroot stuff... Spysweeper and Antivirus protection. FUCK! I was in a jam and desperate. They still couldn't get 3 of the things I had until tech support took care of it.

So, now I'm in for two years. Fuck it. seems to be working smoothly. I think? lol
