Anti-depressants while on a cycle?

Is it ok to be on an anti-depressant while on a cycle? I've had mild depression most of my life, but I've always dealt with it by either excercising or trying to keep a positive attitude. But I think its time to be on some medication. I'm a low dose cycle at the moment, 100mg test cyp and 100mg deca every 6 days. I'd like to start an anti-depressant as soon as possible.

Also, for my next cycle I want to up the amount of gear i'm taking, and will that be ok on an antidepressant as well?

You should come clean with your doc about your steroid use before he/she prescribes anything for you. I know that some anti-depressants greatly increase prolactin levels, thus the sexual sides. As a result you might want to avoid tren and deca.

A suggestion on my side. Try low doses of clomid to start your PCT. Clomid gives lota guys depression!!!

Hey bro. I think you are doing a good thing trying to get rid of Paxil. I think it's the worst SSRI. I've used it and had really bad side effects, especially when I tried to get off from it. I think 5-HTP is a great natural alternative. I used now and I think it works better than SSRIs. If you really need an SSRI, I would go for Zoloft.

I've never experienced any bad sides from paxil, but after seeing photos of giant mutated serotonin receptors I thought I'ld drop it. I felt like I was walking around drunk for the first 6 days coming off of it, so it must be nasty stuff!

should be ok. work with many athletes who use prozac or paxil with AAS.
