- It isn't even a constitutional issue. There have always been gun laws. The constitution doesn't say you have the RIGHT to an RPG or a nuclear bomb. The whining and crying about the constitution is pure diversionary bullshit.

-America is not doomed. - Assault weapons were banned for 10 years in the 90's. America didn't die. The ban did nothing to people's freedom. Life went on just fine (the 90's, ah the good old days). And we don't even know if the government will go that far this time.

The second amendment is stronger than ever, thanks to recent supreme court rulings. They even struck down a cities attempt to require trigger locks!

The NRA and gun nuts want to pretend that government is coming to knock down your door and take your guns, and after they have your guns take the rest of your stuff.

It's just stupid. There is no evidence of it. kind of like the Sandy Hook hoax.

5. Do a little research on what has happened to the countries who's government decided they knew best regarding their right to bear arms and decided to track and round them up. It didn't end well for that group in the early 40's.

6. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, just a realist, and I understand the English language and know what 'shall not be infringed upon' means. It isn't that hard to decipher.

The wording of the second amendment is simple. The meaning has been subject of hundreds of complex debates. You just said that the right to bear arms doesn't include nukes. The government is infringing on your "right" to own a nuke. Not so easy to decipher.
