There seems to be more reverse discrimination and scrutiny against the whiteman than anyone.

One of the biggest ironies of Slave Trade is that Anglos did not go to Africa and simply round up slaves. They, for the most part, purchased them. Who did they purchase them from, other Africans!!! Some sold their old tribes and even relatives, while other kidnapped members of other tribes.

I am not racist, I grew up an Army brat, there was no room for it and my father would not have endorsed it in our family, Tyrone and Johnson were my best pals back in Savanah, GA. But like I state in the post below from another thread, there are social groups that fit certain stereotypes, those groups may or may not be predominently a particular race.

In fact, I had my jaw wired shut, cheek bone and nose broken as a result of a fight involving rednecks starting a fight with me and my black friend Ronnie, because we were with a couple of white girls. We won, I took one hit, a kick to the face while I was bent over helping Ronnie to his feet.

I just thought of this the other day, if the roles were reversed and black americans were the foundation of the american society (sorry, but the fact is, "The Man" runs the show, we live in a white society-this is not a racist statement, just the facts) would cars come from the factory with the wheels sticking way out? Hydraulics? Driver's seat in the center?
Would the mainstream fashion require clothes be baggy and have huge labels all over them.
I was honestly and intelligently just thinking about this after seeing a '89 Ford Escort with NEW wide-ass wheels and the smallest tires to be found (white walls), hydraulics(he was showing off), distorted bass-trunk-rattling system. BTW, the guy driving was white.
Now, I honestly don't know if that would still be the exception or the rule, because, as far as I know the Black Man is forced to fit into the "white society" mold.

Man, I don't wanna open a big debate, but I honestly believe that society perpetuates THE IDEA of racism more than trying to truly resolve the hateful acts and beliefs, by trying to be overly sensitive and empathetic. Did that make sense?

Physiologically facts(differences) exist among the different "races". Asians have hollow hair, africans dark skin, anglos light skin, Eskimo have flat cheeks-this all have to do with evolution and human anthropology not race as we think today. Someone saying blacks are bred for speed is not necessarily racist-the fact is africans have been hunters for thousand of years longer than anglos, so it stands to reason, if you are intelligent (believe in evolution).

I am not racist, I DO however dislike some SOCIAL groups, regardless of color. Ghetto-ganster wanabes, rednecks (ain't skeered, nascar, calvin pissing on Ford-sticker displaying trash), people that worship piece of shit $5000 cars by putting $10K in mods that just look stupid, big-hair biothes, 5" figure nail wearing biotches, genie-pant-wearing upperbodybuilders, racisist, etc... I could go on.

I am often embarrassed by people of my own race, but then think they are people like me, the only thing we have in common is we are people.

I don't know my whole point or why I posted, but ...Anyway, I think that society has tried to over-compensate with regards to being PC.

i read very little of this thread.. old news.. but, to ryan-h... most of black america has NOT been beaten, few if any have been enslaved and if they were it wasnt legal. that argument is not valid... if you are going to use it use it in an historical sense... not modern.

it is obvious to me that you are an intelligent and open minded man. You made a very valid point about the fact that everyone finds there groups in school. i hadnt really thought about it like that. What i meant was i never saw a group of white kids harrassing some younger black kid. But i saw a group of black kids harrassing littleer white kids numerous times. And to Ryan-h's stupid ass, who basically justified the wrong doings i brought up by saying i hadn't been beaten, opressed, blah blah blah for centuries, i say this. Get yourself an education. every race and every ehtnic group has been shit on at some point in time. The irish were abused by the english. Italians were invaded by the Moors (who were mostly black North Africans, i might add), jews were shit on by... well almost everybody. In todays day and age people shit on each other all the time. But some are off limits now. Ever notice how when you hear on the news that a black man was killed by a white man, they will mention if they believe it to be racially motivated. Funny, i dont remember the last time a white man was killed by a black man and the words "racially motivated" were brought up.

ohh, while i am at it... What is the point of having hate crime legislature? What violent crime isn't a hate crime? I don't think you rape and kill people out of kindness. You shouldn't be punished more severly if you rape a woman of one race or another, either crime should be resolved with a bullet to the forehead.

I just hate it when blacks claim that they don't get an equal education even though they are going to the same schools as whites.
A black man that lives down the block from me owns his own business and makes a ton of money. Skin color doesn't keep people in poverty any more. A black person with the right attitude will not end up a crack addict in the ghetto.
