I titled this thread the way i did because i know some assholes are going to respond to it by calling me a racist. that is ok, because that kind of response is just the tool of a weak mind, sort of like the classic "i know you are but what am i". All this talk about racism makes me laugh, especially when it come from jerkoffs like Ryan-Herpes. There is a serious double standard in this country. Blacks whine all the time about how they are oprressed and this and that. Get real. There are more programs in this country that benefit african americans and discriminate in there favor. Ex: affirmitive action.
I also have news for you, blacks are also probably the most racist individuals i have met. They talk shit about whites in all there movies, comedy acts, etc. This is all fine and dandy, but could you imagine what would happen if a white comedian got on stage and started out his routine like this "man, yesterday I was at kfc and i saw this black dude with the biggest damn lips i have evwer seen...". All hell would break loose. Lets look at some more double standards. By me there is a channel called BET (black entertainment television). Do you think i would be able to start WET (white entertainment channel). I doubt it. When blacks do shit like this they are being proud, when whites do it they are being racist. When blacks dont get something they want, all they have to do is yell racism and problem solved. Most companies dont want to go to court and try to disprove it, because they dont want their name to be sullied. When i was in high school, there were certain areas in the halls where all the black kids would hang out. They would harras younger white kids who were littler than they were. This went on all the time. They would segregate themselves i might add, no one forced them to chill by themselves. Call me a racist if you want, idont give a fuck. I have black friends and know that i am not racist, so i dont give a shit what some asswipe on the other side of a computer feels about me.

Perhaps I didn't grasp those concepts in my Govt classes...With the exception of the Presidential Election which is decided indirectly by the majority based on each states Elections, and Supreme court justices who are appointed by the Pres(indirectly elected by maj) confirmed by Which is it house or senate???Oh thats right those people are voted in by the majority as well. How does checks and balances not indicate the majority rule?

"The People" in the context of voting was defined as I always understood it, "Citizens who meet all laws pertaining to and who in turn vote electing by majority"

I'm Italian/Sicilian and Irish. My ethnic groups have been oppressed in the past too as well as many others.

Whites already are a minority on a global scale. Even the black population in this country is growing at a much slower rate than the hispanic. So everyone is a minority in one context or another. When we can finally see that even members of a race are composed of different subgroups down to the truth that we are all individuals can we actually start to make any headway.

A college football coach of mine once told me that as a kid he was told by his parents to never take any crap from a white man. He was smart enough to realize that no one should take any crap from anyone, and that race is immaterial. I decided that if he could overcome this setback and be the best he could be, then so should I.


I agree that racism is fear personified. However, deep seated anger against another race based on historical implications and daily stress can also serve as a basis for hidden hatred (smiling when you're really frowning). However, there is the appearance that blacks in confrontation with whites are trying to take out their frustration on whites regardless of knowing whether or not that person is even a racist. So it seems that lashing out against the powers that be also includes white people who are not at all bigoted or even involved. So you have to realize that the line drawn by one party can cause the line to be drawn by innocent people as well.

I think the perception by some whites is that blacks want equality on their own terms, regardless of the efforts of the many whites who would also like to see this achieved as well. Historically, this has been shown in how the whites who helped in the liberation process have been hardly noted in history. So even the fight for equality itself has roots in segregative tendencies.

At any rate, just my thoughts on the matter.

There seems to be more reverse discrimination and scrutiny against the whiteman than anyone.

One of the biggest ironies of Slave Trade is that Anglos did not go to Africa and simply round up slaves. They, for the most part, purchased them. Who did they purchase them from, other Africans!!! Some sold their old tribes and even relatives, while other kidnapped members of other tribes.

I am not racist, I grew up an Army brat, there was no room for it and my father would not have endorsed it in our family, Tyrone and Johnson were my best pals back in Savanah, GA. But like I state in the post below from another thread, there are social groups that fit certain stereotypes, those groups may or may not be predominently a particular race.

In fact, I had my jaw wired shut, cheek bone and nose broken as a result of a fight involving rednecks starting a fight with me and my black friend Ronnie, because we were with a couple of white girls. We won, I took one hit, a kick to the face while I was bent over helping Ronnie to his feet.

I was honestly and intelligently just thinking about this after seeing a '89 Ford Escort with NEW wide-ass wheels and the smallest tires to be found (white walls), hydraulics(he was showing off), distorted bass-trunk-rattling system. BTW, the guy driving was white.
Now, I honestly don't know if that would still be the exception or the rule, because, as far as I know the Black Man is forced to fit into the "white society" mold.

What i meant was i never saw a group of white kids harrassing some younger black kid. But i saw a group of black kids harrassing littleer white kids numerous times. You don't have very good observational skills do you? Most of the shows on all major networks today and in the distant past don't have minorities on them.

This shit really cracks me up. As soon as a racist white guy sees a minority on a tv show, getting a certain job, etc. it always comes down to "these minorities always get special treament" yada yada yada

How does it feel? Imagine how minorities feel when everything they have been exposed to since childhood basically isolates them from everyone else. You don't like watching only black people on tv shows? So what makes you think that black people like watching only white people on tv shows?
