another newbie...

What kind of weight training?
I have no idea where to even start when it comes to that. Should I use machines? Free weights?

I think you will really enjoy free weights. The results speak for themselves!

Lifting weights will transform your body. Becarefull...it can become addicting :)
I'm currently in Vegas on Vacation and I go to the local gym here. The guy at the front desk made a comment to me today at how great I looked from the last time I was here(March) he asked what I was doing and I told him "hitting the free weights" 5X a week.
It sure made me feel like I have accomplished something.
