Just imagine if on average it costs $750.00 per week to feed,house and supervise a prisioner......and we have an estimated 300,000 illegals incarserated in this country now...what we are spending per week on illegals in jail per week..

Our legal system isn't about "fairness" or "justice", it's about the law. People go to prison everyday based on circumstances that are unfair.

1. They had a jury trial where both sides presented their case and they were convicted.

2. They didn't report discharging a sidearm against an unarmed alleged criminal.(MAJOR violation in any law enforcement position).

3. They violated other procedures. One could imagine pursuing at high speeds on those border roads would endanger innocent people, the guy did crash his van.

4. The war on drugs has created criminals out of many agents so these breaches make them look "bad." perhaps why they got an extra close look under the microscope from an outside agency (thin blue line protects its own).

5. Unless we can read the entire trial transcript we have no basis for concluding whether or not they committed a crime beyond a reasonable doubt, in our opinion.

6.The CNN report was obviously biased, "miscarriage of justice." I don't blame the prosecutor for not commenting on a "no win situation."
