Androgel and Juicing

Yo,

I'm new here, so here are my details:

Height: 5'9
Weight: 175
30 years old
Lift 4x/week

Here's the deal. I was just prescribed Androgel (Test gel) for low T levels. I was borderline low (420 ng/DL), so the doc said the Androgel would help my workouts (I was working out hard and not noticing much gain). I gotta say, in the 3 weeks I've been on the stuff, I've seen some pretty decent gain. But now it has me thinking that if this stuff works well, I should try a cycle (or three) and see how far I can really go. But my question is: If I begin a cycle, do I continue to take the Androgel? I would think so, since the gel is pushing me to the upper limits of the high range (900 ng/DL; I rub one packet on my nuts even tho the doc says not to!), but this is still normal. But if I stay on the stuff, do I have an increased chance of developing bitch-tits while cycling? I'm not currently taking any sort of estrogen blocker while on the Androgel, since the doc says the absorbed T levels are low enough so that excess aromatization to estrogen isn't a problem. Getting boobs is not something I'm intersted in (not even temporarily).

Any help/advice is much appreciated.

Thanks!

i use oralgel bro it works better

No need for the androgel when injecting test, just keep it around for afterwards.

Take an AI to keep the gyno low.

PCT should be a breeze since you can use the androgel.

Androlgel and anavar will work good together. Don't listen to the "I use a garm of test a week crowd". You'll be dancing on their graves.

Whoah, wait a minute....420 is borderline low??? I thought the normal range for that age is between 300-1200? Give me the name of that doctor... seems like he'll prescribe anything! And rubbing it on your nuts? Oh man!

my levels were 280ish, shit i woulda been happy at 420 - and i'm 22 years old!

That's what I'm talking about!!! My highest was about 500 a few years ago...lowest has been more recently in the high 100's / low 200's (that's after a failed attempt at PCT)...boy did that suck! Getting bloodwork next week to see how I recovered from my last cycle and PCT *fingers crossed*

why don't you get your test levels and hormones back to a good natural state before indulging in something that will throw them out of whack again? jmo.....

Y'all make me feel better about the results cuz being diagnosed low-T at 30 was pretty damn demotivating. Anyway, according to the lab, it's definitely low. The lab sheet says the Low end of normal is 400 and the High end of normal is 1080. After 3 weeks, i'm near the high end, but I think it's cuz I been rubbin the stuff on my nuts. It stung like a mofo the first couple times, but now it's not so bad...I heard it increases absorption by between 30 and 50%. Who knows, but it's definitely better than during the first week-and-a-half when i was just puttin it on the shoulders.

Like i said, i definitely notice a difference since being on the stuff. Now it's got me hungry to try something with a little more kick....

well, point is... even if they're classifying you as the "low-end of normal", (which I think isn't accurate, but anyway)... point is, you're still in the normal range.... why completely mess that up by going onto something as permanent as HRT? Do a cycle, heck do 3 cycles... then do PCT and recover.... then see what your levels look like...HRT will shut down your normal test for good (and you're only 30).... I think it was a bad idea for that doctor to put you on HRT when you're still within "normal range"

Damn, now you got me scared. The doc promised me that I wouldn't lose my boys, although he said that they might shrink "some". So far, so good. But i only viewed this as a temporary thing, I don't want to be on this shyte forever.

what kind of doctor are you seeing? General practitioner? How can he think that HRT is "temporary"? And how does he think that an endogenous (outside) source of test, regardless of dosage, won't shut down your boys??

You better look into this more

I'm no doctor...and I'm no expert in HRT... but then again, alot of doctors aren't experts in HRT...and those that are, aren't always that savvy it seems... in the meantime, do some research on HRT online and on the boards...get the basic facts... see what people's experiences are... then go back and ask your urologist a bunch of questions... if he doesn't give you satisfying answer, then seek another doctor...

Total Testosterone is often misleading. Get the doc to test your Bio-Available test (or Free Testosterone if the latter is not available). This represents exactly how much testosterone your body has for its use.

I just so happen to have that info...I don't know what it means, but apparently I'm normal:

This is from my lab, I think this is the free test:

SEX HORMONE BINDING GLOBULIN TESTOS FREE 73.4

And next to my result it has the range:
LOW: 47.0
HIGH 244.0pg/mL

Does this sound about right?

Also, I'm on the max dose of Androgel - 2 packets (5g test each)
