Anal Itching: Call your doctor

I was on this home remedy website and I came across anal itching (don't ask me how) it had a list of symptoms causes and reasons to go to the doctor. It said if you're on steroids and have anal itching you better go to the doctor, but it doesn't say why? Does anyone know why?

if i had to make a half-assed guess (get it?), I'd say anal itch possibly = inflamed/engorged vascular tissue in the anus (like hemmorids whether distended or not) from polycythemia (RBC too high from juice).

pin worms and yeast are the main causes of anal itching.
If it were pin worms, you would be scratching like a nut.
Many things cause anal itching but if it lasts more than a few days, it's more than likey yeast or pinworm
