I gotta give the update.

So I was on my way out to go on a date that I wasn't really even looking forward to at all.... but was still going because I wanted to see the movie we were gonna see...

on the way there I called the girl.. she ANSWERED!!! I was amazed.

She told me she meant to call me yesterday but then started feeling so bad and ended up at the hospital.

The conversation was good, I ended the phone call feeling very positive about things.

She said she will be busy for the next week with the godparents, but she'll call me and see if she can squeeze me in some evening for a movie at home after the godparents have gone to sleep... I know that sounds like a consolation prize, but it sounded genuine.

So time will tell.. thanks for all the advice... and GL you'll be happy to know I ultimately took yours and just went for the phone call and skipped the email.


The date tonight was worthless.. no connection there, this girl has gone out with me 3 times now and its just been a big waste of my time and money... I don't know why she even bothered for the 3rd date because it didn't even seem like she was into it. Oh well... I'm not pissed or bummed or anything.. it was just an experience and I'll take it as such.

Yeah, I figured that line would make her feel good, but then again in the early stages everything is such a game. You show too much interest or seem like an eager beaver and it works AGAINST you half the time.
