As others pointed out in the old thread, due to genetic factors, experience ,and so forth, there's always going to be at least 6 ways to approach a problem.
In my own motivational scheme, my BB bench has always been proportionally weak to DB bench. I've always found this irritating and work hard to correct the imbalance. This never happens for me as my DB then increases and I have to play catch up again.
I'm with those that believe that BBs strictly aren't necessary for a bodybuilder. However, that a basic compound movement should feel so limiting is far more compelling every time I set foot in the gym.
