Wow. Gay charities?

Corn is that were you got your name????

Nope. I was watching Beavis and Butthead movie back when EF was locking down handles. My old one was THe Shadow, so I just login as a new name until the old one was unfrozen and I just stuck with this one.

btw - I am honored that you could tear away form the circle jerk long enough to ask about it. :)

First, this post on T-Mag is about a million years old.

Derek was a partner years ago. Andy drives a Mazda, not a Ferrari. My home in New York is nice, but not expensive by New York standards.

Mass Quantities has and still does give a small portion of profits to The American Foundation for AIDS Research. We are proud to support AmFAR, the nation's leading nonprofit organization dedicated to the support of HIV/AIDS research, AIDS prevention, treatment education, and the advocacy of sound AIDS-related public policy. Check out www.amfar.org.

Additionally, we contributed generously to The American Red Cross following September 11.

There is really nothing more to say about this t-mag article except that I think it is in poor taste.

George, I think that's cool...and it's a shame that someone would try to disparage urgently-needed AIDS research as a "gay charity." Whether it is or isn't administered by gay interests is irrelevant (given that AIDS affects all groups), and people ought to be free to contribute their incomes to any service programs they wish. Shame on T-mag for being snotty about this; anyone else remember how they defended auctioing a Testosterone leather jacket for the Red Cross? I agreed with their decision to o that, and regret that they would not permit other entrepeneurs from approaching service organizations as they opt, too.
