Am I obsessive?

I use to eat every 2 hrs but that was just too much. Now I eat every 3 hrs which in my opinion is perfect for me. This totals 6 meals a day which also is not that bad. If you plan on doing bodybuilding for life then you better make sure its not a pain to get through everyday.


I think 1.5hrs is very extreme, stick with 2-3hrs.
 
if you have to weight yourself after every meal then you have a problem. Sounds like you have self-image problems? do you actually get really upset if you drop a pound or two? or vice versa? i know alot of people with muscle dysphormia but this is to another level.
 
well i can totally relate.i have ocd, adhd and a bunch of other shit too addd too the list.
i eat every two hours on the dot, i carry food in a bag just in case im out for longer than two hours.i must look in the mirror more times a day than any woman i know.
i actually had to shave my head because it got so bad that it took me three hours to get ready because every strand on my head had too be perfect.
i always wonder what it would like to live a normal life.
but in my eyes this is normal too everyone else they think im nuts or just dont understand.
atleast now im putting my obsessions into making my body look better instead of doing recreational drugs and drinking like in the past.
only true bodybuilders can understand what we go through everyday, everyone else thinks you just lift weights stick a needle in your ass and then your big.
lifting weight is the only enjoyable part
 
No offense Lifter, but I wish that some of you guys would really do some research as opposed to simply posting anything you here Joe Steroid tell you at the gym.....In reality numerous studies have shown that muscle degeneration can occur in as little of 12 hours of bed rest and/or once blood glucose levels have dropped low enough that the liver must recruit muscle amino acids for gluconeogenesis for brain energy and other cells. There are other cases in which this may also occur but are rare. A catabolic state can be reached in hours without sufficient nutrition as opposed to weeks especially if you are not on any type of steroid. I'm not flaming anyone....I don't post often but love to read and get very frustrated when people post just to see there names on the screen and really have no idea what they are talking about.

If I lose like 3 lbs I get pissed and I start eating more and workout like crazy and dont even go out for a few days until im past my normal weight, but that doesn't happen anymore because im really starting to get my diet just perfect, it only took 6 years, hehe. I also measure my arms after every bi workout and tri workout to make sure they are at or beyond my normal size.
 
dont weigh yourself for about a week. then, when you do weigh yourself you will get really fuckin psyched when you see you have gained weight. also, this may alleviate some stress that may have occured by constantly checking your weight.
