Am I lacking EFA's? Do I need them?

Goal=By this time everyone knows


Meal1-6:00am Protein shake or 5egg whites

7:00am-8:00am-WEIGHT LIFTING

Meal2-8:00am(POSTWORKOUT) Gatorade or a banana with 44whey protein and 5gram creatine

Meal3-About 11am 1pound of grilled chicken breast,since Hot bars say 4.99per pound i assume i get that 1pound(SHITLOAD OF PROTEIN,no carbs)

Meal4-3:30pm-4:00pm 1cup cottage cheese with 1/3oat Bran(21carbs) and 5egg whites

Meal5-2chicken breast with Chick Peas or Broccoli or Salad

Meal6-5egg whites
 
does this look good
225protein =900cals
100carbs = 400cals
40fat = 360cals

Total 1660cals


BMR CALS is 1920 so 260deficit in cals,i should be dropping atleast a 1lb a week
 
i find that when cutting i tend to need more fats. So i supplement with efa's just some flax and the occasional piece of salmon. It tends to help me lose more fat and retain more muscle. Just try it and see if it works for you. Just use some flax over your salad as a dressing or if you can stomach it you can just drink a tbsp of flax YUG :sick:
 
Yea you are lacking EFA's in that:

Natural Peanut Butter

fresh nuts

Fish

Flax

Cod liver oil

I would add something from that list if it were me.
 
it all depends on how much fat you want to introduce into your diet doofy. I tend to get at least 3 tbsp when i cut, but i do tend to eat a lot of fat when i cut the cals
 
Yeah, I'm the same as jaap -

When I'm cutting I have two or three tablespoons of an omega oil blend every day - or sometimes I'll have a spoonful of all natural peanut butter (extra crunchy - yum!) every now and then...

My latest thing is to mix the oil in with some protein powder and just a little bit of H20.....so it's like a pudding.....OmG!! It tastes so damn good...

I also love the fullness I get in my muscles when I up the fat intake....it's great!!
