Am i allergic to ALA???!!

I bought some yesterday the 100mg ones and i popped like 4 right before i ate and about an hr later i was itching like a mofo every where and heives(sp) i felt like running through a wall ...i got in the shower and it seemed like it went away but as soon as i got out...itching again but not as bad...and im thinking to myself wtf and some of you take like a gram of this stuff...has anyone experienced this?

if your sold on using ALA, buy some topical benadryl at the store and rub it on. I have not had an allergic reaction to ALA but with DNP I did and I rubbed it on once and then the allergic reaction went away and never came back.... hopefully this works for you.

The reaction may have occurred from something consumed in the meal or another source such as ragweed etc. and not the ALA. Try it agin but have benadryl on hand. If it happens agin try a different brand to rule out the possibility that you may be reacting to a filler in the brand that you are now using.
