My mom is going to get me a pistol for the bday. I saw an HK at the gun show that had threads for a silencer. I didnt catch the model, if any of you know help me out. Also do i want a .9 or a .45 for target shooting and for home protection for my girlfriend when i am away. thanks

BTW - the tac's threaded barrell is also good for flash suppressors. I've got a tac with a flash suppressor and it is amazing. Cool flame direction and it actually tightens up my groupings.
