Allergy question

My husband has been pissing and moaning about how itchy his eyes are due to "something in the air" .

If I hear one more time how much he wants to "rip his eyeballs out and soak them in water", I'm going to do it for him!

Any OTC eye drops you can suggest?

Try Zyrtec...it's been a life saver for me. It's a little pricey, because there isn't a generic yet but the docs are usually cool about giving you a shit load of samples. It won't make you drowsy and there are zero side effects. The only thing is though, that when you go to bed, you're OUT like a light.

I have bad allergies and I swear by the stuff.

Yes , you can get antihistamine eye drops

* Dexamethasone (Decadron, Maxidex, others)
* Fluorometholone (FML, Fluor-Op, others)
* Prednisolone (Pred Forte, Econopred, others)

But I understand being allergic to dust and dust mites , molds , cat and dog hair , or even airbone chemicals.

Go to the allergist and you can get drugs easily and cheap with a skin prick test

its oral

it used to be perscription but now its otc

try to stay away from steroidal drops bc once you stop taking them its worse

try an claritin/visene allergy combo

works great for me

if i did not use it i would scratch my eyes out lol

What jon said -----> Claritin D and eye drops, either visine allergy or clear eyes allergy. I have bad allergies at times with my eyes and nose and these 2 work great. If its just the eyes the drops alone works well for me. And it usually works fast
