This was based on a comic book series. the comic bookk series was pretty cool. we'll see how they execute the movie... I think the Predator species are the "good guys" in the movie...
I knew this was coming ever since Predator 2... If you guys have the movie, just go to the end when the Black dude is in the Predator Space ship. There is a scene where a buch of Alien skulls are displayed on the walls of a room like trophies, one of these skulls looks identical to the Head of the "Alien" creatures. That was a give away.

BRR is right. There was a comic book about it years ago. If I am not mistaken, the Aliens were captured and bred for "sport" and for newbie Predator hunters to make their first kill. Sort of rite of passage type thing.

However, the alien population spread out of control and was about to pull a Custard on the predators.
