Album that represents your persona...

-Ariel-

-Thandzilla-
Platinum
I've been ruminating on the idea that when we explore the senses vision is more of a thinking or male aspect while sound or hearing represents more of a female or feeling aspect. Thats why we say en light en me, or illumination, or I can't see where you are coming from. On the flip side of that music or speeches tend or even text tend to work more on feelings... I'll ruminate on this at work today so I can discern an explanation... but what I"m rambling toward is what album defines your persona, your feeling the best? What album when you hear, you are like, man this is so me... I connect to this, this artist understands it... he gets the big picture. What album inspires you and fill you up with feeling of being alive. I'm at work behind music desk and have been having seeing some good purchases this morning...
That and I'm in a good mood. What albums rock your world.

Dude, I wish they would play that in the music section of B&N,

Shit I would lift to but not knock boots...

Can't say much for the "music", but the visuals are outstanding.
Thanks mr db... I know the music is a little on the weak side.. but the visuals are heaven to me... christian heaven and muslim heaven, and even buddhist nirvana... that video to me is a silent mind... nothing but wonder and peace.

No politics or look, vocally and musically they just bother me. Vocally more than musically if I had to pick one.

lol I'm just use to different stuff. The Germans version of 'nu metal' is so much heavier than our sissy shit.

The closest you'll get is this video of the tour promoting the album which uses some of the songs from the CD's, of which there are two, so we're talking 20 or so tracks here.

Its always an honor when I get the smartest man in EF to post up... Samoth, does is your brain always in some form of battle mode... I always associate physics with classical, not battleaxes the cold steel drinking flesh to defend ones territory or honor... but that is so your persona... such a throwback samoth... always in powerlifting mode...
I dig it.

+1,000,000

I'll bet Dimitri gets the seks all the time. Evidently, he's been mixing all of his life. A friend of mine from Paris worked with a guy who went to school with him. At the age of 10, when there was a party to be held, Dimitri was mixing it up.

I'm not the smartest here by far, lol, I assure you.

One of Manowar's biggest influences is the great Wagner. At the 2005 Earthshaker Festival in Germany, they had a both a 100-piece philharmonic orchestra and choir, performing an excellent rendition of Prelude to Act III.

Bach > Wagner

That is hard to argue.

I think much of it comes down to personal preference and style. I'm totally not versed enough in classical to really compare any of these guys at a technical music level.

But I do know that Manowar >>> everyone else. :D

To tell you the God's honest truth, I'm feeling this tune right now because of the Guardian thread.

I didn't know the guy at all. I think the the only thing I said to him were a few playful, geigh comments.

But I just have this thing against the young passing away. :brokenheart:

Dude, you summed up the whole communal feel of today... The visuals were so poingant. I still can't believe this shit has happened... I mean so young, strong, in his prime, it makes no sense.
