It's worth a try. Thanks.

How were you diagnosed with adrenal fatigue?

Salivary cortisol, synacthen test or a blood test?

I would also advise you to read this book for dietary and lifestyle modifications (as well as supplements), Fat around the Middle by Marilyn Glenville. You can get it on Amazon.

I haven't been diagnosed by a doctor yet. I just got my blood work back and doctor says showing hyperthyroid. I know how long I have felt the way I have, no energy, shaky, hypoglycemic, salt cravings, depressed, etc...I have always felt that my on button was stuck on. Now I think I know why. Even if my hyperthyroid diagnosis is confirmed, I KNOW my adrenals are shot. I have been doing some searching around on the internet to find out more on both and they really are related. A nice person on another board here at Elite told me to check out "Metomorphosis" site and read up on it. WOW! I feel like I have finally found out what is going on with me. I hope my doctor will be open minded and listen to me. I go back next Wed. for more blood work. I am going to ask the Doc at that time that I want my adrenals tested as well.

If your adrenals were shot you would be in a hospital on corticosteroids and mineralocorticoids. Your blood pressure would be extremely low and your potassium would be extremely high.

Hyperthyroidism by itself can give you the symptoms you describe. It doesn't mean the adrenals are necessarily involved. Nonetheless, you should speak to your physician about this.
