Acne

everyone has their own stories of accutane

i was on it 6 times, didn't fix my acne, and I've never used gear. :P

it screwed me up pretty badly too. joints were so horribly achy, very miserable, keep vasoline lip balm and some good skin conditioner with you at all times. yes, AT ALL TIMES. My lips and feet and hands would crack and bleed, so I had to apply the stuff so often

pure misery, and I still have acne *mutter*

I've been around for quite awhile but this is my first post here.
I used get BAD acne sides. Took somebody's advice on the EF board here and got some vitamin E and vitamin A. I had to experiment with the right doses but finally it worked like a charm. I would def try it before taking something more expensive that gives more sides.

What kind of doses were you taking.....and on what regimen?

To everyone else: Keep this thread going.......I'm open to hearing any kind of witch-doctor shit you ever tried!!! (But lets keep the jokes about rubbing monkey spunk on your face or any shit like that to a minimum.......ya, I know someone was thinking it.)

My experience:

Differin: Sucks
Aberella: sucks
Brevoxyl: Sucks
Bamacin: Sucks
Tetralysal: Sucks
Sun bed: Helps a bit
Vitamine B5: Sucks
Roaccutane: wanted...

If the acne you have is due to the cycle you are on, you might try accutane at 20mg EOD. I tried the usual dosing structure early on (much higher doeses) but I had really bad sides (cracked lips, liver values up, joints, etc) so i started trying different things. I found that at 20 mg eod it was just enough to clear things up without any sides.

Had really bad skin for about 10 years.

Finally convinced the doc I need accutane. I went via the NHS and it cost me £13 per prescrition, the hopital prescriptions lasted 3 months so I paid £26 in total!

I was on 80mg a day, the strongest the NHS allows. i was fucking mess, nose bleeds dayly, cracked lips etc, but things got better and now I'm spot free

Get shit scared every cycle i do now incase they make a come back but try to avoid anything with major acne side effects.

So far things are still good.....except the need for microdermabrasion for my pock marked face and back.

Proactive solution!!! The topical contains sulphur and doesnt overdry or scar, and takes away redness while the wash and oral help with the circulation to take away the infection around the kind that are like sores that dont really ever show all the way. PROACTIVE ROCKED FOR ME. :Chef:

I have to go with accutane. Last cycle of sustanon broke me out very bad during pct. I tried Proactive,B5,etc. and really didn't do much for me. I decided after my next cycle I was going to use accutane during pct. So far I am 3 weeks into pct and not one blemish. Only negatives so far are the dry skin, especially the lips and the corners of my nose. I was doing 60mg ed, but I'm going to drop to 20mg ed and see how that goes.
