Hey Bros-

I've heard so many tips on treatment for AAS induced acne, i don't know what to try. i can honestly say I gave damn near every otc remedy a try to no avail! This shit just started getting bad for me when I started using vet gear. right now I'm using QV- EQ and Aratest 2500. Love the shit but I didn't get such bad acne when I was using ICN Enth. I'm considering trying Acutane. What's the general consensus on that stuff? Any one know of any great products that seem to do the trick for you? Karma coming for your help.

I heard liquid accutane works well but I have not tried it nor do I know where to get it. Bump for site info

Well I've only done one cycle so I'm no pro, but I'm quite the greasy ghini to begin with, so I'm pretty prone to acne. On a cycle of 500mgs sust a week I started getting it on my shoulders and back pretty bad towards the end. It was summer at the time so going to the beach and hopping in the water helped clear it up alot. Make sure to scrub with IVORY soap, it's really pure and there are no oils in it, it helps dry the acne up. Going tanning helps a bit too.

Theres a product out called Proactiv, it's for skin treatment, I don't know much about it but they sell it in the mall near where I work, supposed to be really good.

get it prescribed, accutane works really well as it changes your sebaceous glands. I am on it right now and its workign really well. I woudl get it prescribed though as they do bloodtests and its a pretty potent drug. Only side effects I am really getting are being really dried out.

Ya,
I go tanning once a week and that helps a little. But they come faster than they go. So I'll make an appointment with a dermotologist and get some Acutane. Think they'll wonder if I'm on the juice? :worried: Karma to all! Thanks.

From my own expereince (40mg per day 5-6 months), Accutane did helped 70%-80% in clearing up my acne (take note: not 100%). Its mechanism in the sebacus glands work faster within the face region, so you'll see improvements there first.

But the common roid-induced acne on your chest or back (if you get them there) will take longer time to clear up...accutane will NOT eliminate existing scars, but will help reduce further or new scarring from forming.

For me as well as my dematologist, we both knew that accutane is NOT a permanent cure for acne. It buys time.

I can't stress enough that before you see any improvements, it is very common for ppl to expereince acne flaring up. For some a few weeks, others months. For me, 3 months of absolutely no life. When I mean acne flaring up I mean expect the worst.

Also no waxing or tanning whilst on accutane (so you'll be pale and unsexy :( and further 6 months upon completion of your course. Avoid orals, go with injectibiles while on accutane (if you want to combine with gear that is).

Expect dry skin, dry cracked lips, bleeding nose (dry nostrils) some get dry anus....(really) so no fingers up there allowed.

Your existing scars will not be helped by accutane.

I got major roid acne on my chest from sust + deca cycle. I am researching on microdermabrasion, laser surgery, skin resurfacing etc.

Anothing thing, some ppl try megadoses of B5 (?) I think. Not sure what the consensus is with that though.

Oh, and give me Karma too, as a newbie here I ain't got a thing yet. I want one of those flashy glowing thingy.

I have been using b5 supplements since June 1st. They clears up a shit load of the acne on my back. I occassionally still get some flare ups under my skin on my back. I can tell you the stuff does work though.
I am not sure if any of our sponsors have b5 products... but I use b5supplements.com They have a good product.
Best of luck!
