acl surgery

Ive done my left knee twice. Just never fully heeled and it tore bad the second time. My advice is to stick to your PT, that is the key. Its been 4 years now and it still bothers me. Use this time to heal your whole body and come back with a vegance. I lost a grip of weight also, it all came back plus some. Good luck!

Hey bro... I had it done a few years back and let me tell you....stick to the PT..esp. the stretching they do to you (kinda like a Nazi Torture camp at times) but it is well worth it... I can run just as fast now as before..squat the same, etc.. the only problem I have is I don't like to kneel on the leg I had the surgery on...it just feels different...also some numbness on the outside of the knee area and down the shin. Mine was also the patellar graft.... it sucks bro and I wouldn't wish it on anyone...but the key is giving it 100% in PT..... Good luck and keep us updated..
