Accutane Users!!!

I heard that accutane is a CURE for acne, meaning that once you take it for a certain amount of time, you'll never have acne again. Is this true, or just rumors in the gym?

Accutain is a very good drug, I am going to give it a try for my acne. Most people report a huge diffrence in there acne after coming off Accutain. It will be hard on the liver and makes your skin and lips very dry. Also you can't go in the sun for long periods of time as you will burn. It takes about 2-4 months sometimes but it is worth it for some people with very bad acne.

it'll come back in some people...... for others it will never come back. It came back for me, but that's after I did my first cycle. Went on Accutane a 2nd time around, and have done 2 cycles since and have a pimple here and there, but nothing as drastic as my first cycle.

I used to twice a few years back, works great. Never even wash my face after second time around. Treatment is 15-20 weeks. Mustang, are you going to the doc or using IP accutane?

acutane

i have used Acutane and it worked well but, i had to get frequent blood test for liver and it also dried my eyes and lips. i just broke out again on my back and my doctor who knows i AS gave me Minocin which is not as harsh but has been working well for me...

I'm not sure of the exact details, but I just began a five month cycle of Accutane and my doctor said eventually it will completely shut down some type of oil producing glands. The amount of time for this is different for everyone but eventually, the acne should not come back. At least that's what the doc says.

Just to let you guys know i've been on it for a week and am starting to notice a slight change. Face a little drier but nowhere near what I've heard it will be.

Accutane worked really well for me. The side effects were minimal (dry lips, skin) and I even did a light cycle while on. Since then I have done about three cycles and at most have had 1-2 zits per cycle.
