Accomodating Resistance is the SHIT

i will be using the chains today for speed bench i will let yall know how it goes after i get home this afternoon. and yes i do need that knew shirt on elitefts with the guy box squatting with bands and on it it says if you have to ask you wouldnt understand;)
 
I have some of the Home Depot 3/8" chain and I just got some 5/8" chain from elitefts and all I can say about the difference in size is WOW! You can fit like 3 of the 3/8 links inside 1 of the 5/8 links. But the 3/8 is still good for adding small increments of weight.
 
Ok well so far I think I've done well with squats and chains. I've done 205 speed 8x2 and 225 8x3 regular both with no problems and extreme comfort. I will say this though chains are loud as hell lol and they like to slam into the rack without telling you. I'm doing ATF to the extreme squats(one time I almost actually fell down ass to the floor that was a close one). Next week I will try box squats with chains and see how that goes. Regular squats though oh man did I feel some burning quads after working with chains. I haven't hand any leaning problems with adding chains to my weights either. I'm going to make a new routine soon I just need to do some more limit testing with these chains as well as make another set of chains and get my friend OPL his band set and play with them.
 
I'm a bodybuilder, but I played around with WSB for a bit. The chains are great as are the bands. Have you tried them yet?

I love all of the info that Louis and Dave Tate provide for us. Being a bodybuilder I thought I new some information, but I learn everyday from reading Louis, Tate, Siff and Zatsiorsky. I think I know a lot and then I realize how little I really know.

Have fun with the chains and just laugh at people. They really do not understand anything like what the WSB do. Also make sure you are doing the box squats right by sitting back on the box and make sure to come up with your hips/glutes and hams. Sorry for the babbling, you probably already know this stuff, but I have to tell myself that when I do box squats too. Good luck.
