If the kid is yours either be in it's life or not, but don't be half assed if you're going to be involved. Be forewarned, though, the harsh reality is if you have a shit relationship with the mom it's pretty hopeless having a decent relationship with the kid, especially under these circumstances (you both are very, very young and really had NO relationship foundation). Which means you will probably be nothing more than a check. So what happens is, you have a shit job, you pay a tiny amount of support. You get a good job, then she goes back to family court and gets the support decree raised. My husband's support order for two children, which included daycare, was $255 a week. He was providing more than 50% of the children's financial support but his kvnt of an ex wife wouldn't sign the IRS form so he could claim one of them on his taxes (she had primary physical custody) so she basically fucked him out of an additional $24,000+ over 8+ years.
Anyway, you created the thread announcing the pregnancy Aug. 1, that means she's more than 12 weeks along. Plan on staying underemployed for the next 18 years, or get the hell out of the country.
